This book is magical! Loved it from start to finish. Made my queer heart warm and happy ! If you haven‘t read it you should! 🖤

A cozy mystery full of food and family . This book had my mouth watering with the descriptions of the food . Looking forward to book two.

I really enjoyed this crime novel by Stephen King. Just the right amount of shock and gore for me . The narrator told his story in a way that kept me enthralled and ready for the next twist .

Quick . Easy . Spicy read . Typical romance trope enemies to lovers . Love that it was food truck scene and descriptions of food was amazing made me hungry. But I was bored by the usual romance . There wasn‘t even a queer character . Missed the mark in my opinion.

This tarot looks so lovely ! I could not help but back it. I got addicted to Kickstarter on quarantine haha I‘m trying to be selective nowadays but who can resist a literary tarot? Who else wants to join me in backing this beauty!?

This story was heartwarming, cute and a page turner . First physical book I‘ve read in over 7 months . For a few reasons one work has been crazy. I never knew working at a library could be so busy and so stressful at times. I love my work but working with the public is hard especially now . Two I‘ve been busy with my relationship. I‘m engaged . Never thought I would say that. It‘s been a different but beautiful adventure.

Needed a quick , funny , heartfelt, cozy story to get me through the heat and some anxious busy days. This was perfect for that. Hilariously charming the aunties had me hooked from the start .

Great advice on leadership from a great women ! Found out Stacey Abrams is a Trekkie! That makes her that much more awesome in my book. I picked this book because I recently took over as Vice President for the equality alliance in my city. I‘m super overwhelmed by this and don‘t know if I got in over my head . This was a refreshing and no nonsense approach to leadership for those who are not the “norm “ to lead. The underdogs and the outsiders .

It‘s a catastrophe!! Hermès doesn‘t know how big he is. Doesn‘t understand he and the vase don‘t both fit on top of the bookshelf. They are both bad at running from the crime scene . #catsoflitsy

Finished my first physical book of 2021 and first book to celebrate women‘s history month ! This is between a pick and a so-so. This book started off so promising. DC /YA version of Handmaids tale . But throw in unnecessary romance and an ending that was too quick and I found it lacking.

I wish I was good at writing book reviews. This book deserves an excellent review. From the minute I started this audiobook I was pulled into Hiram‘s world . This is a tough read but also very important . Truth meets magical realism. Full of love, hate, life, death , beauty, ugliness, magic and tragedy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My display for women‘s history month! Be Your Own Hero book bundles ! All the bundles are full of comic books featuring female superheroes ! I also included little craft kits in each bundle with 3 D printed pins! She-ra‘s emblem and wonder woman‘s sword ! Hope these check out fast and get girls interested in comic books!

4th audiobook completed for February!! The Good Luck Girls is an epic story of 5 girls on the run from the law. Law and right are not the same and this book dives deep into a cruel and brutal land known as the Scab. Dust bloods spend their lives in the mines being worked to the bone to feed their families. The families are offered a better life for their daughters in the shiny welcome houses. But that shiny life is not what is promised. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just finished watching the Vanishing at Cicil Hotel . All of Elisa Lams Tumblr posts are archived and I can see why people got so obsessed with her story and her writings . She had so much potential as a writer. A light lost to this cruel world. RIP Elisa .

Been a while since I read a YA fantasy! This book is stunning and brutal! Beautiful and gory. The way Namina details the almost deaths of Deka is enough to make me squeamish but kept me wanting to know more. The power of females is such a force in this amazing and captivating novel.

Another treat of staff day! My library hired Dr. Ebony Butler to give us a self care wellness class during our training ! Everything she said hit me deeply and she is so knowledgeable and wise ! She hit on the points of feeling guilt and endless trauma from the pandemic and working in the public instead of from home. She also made sure to check privileges . Saying take a bath as self care if you are privileged enough to have a bath! So important!

Our all staff day for the library was virtual from home because of icy weather ! Brrr... I was cozy at home cuddling with my darling earl gray! She started a trend during the break of all the librarians showing their kitties and other pets over zoom! @Wanders.In.Stories even showed her baby bird ! #catsoflitsy

Wow. I am speechless. This thriller was so good and very eye opening. @lovely.murrell ‘s pick for her monthly digital book club. Sinister Gentrification of a mostly black community . What is really happening ? Who do you trust ? Twist , turns, action. Had me hooked from start to finish.

When I started my position as a program and outreach coordinator at my library things were pretty darn normal. 2 weeks later the world went into lock down. I applied for a job that was straightforward and normal! All the sudden I was thrown into the world of virtual. It‘s been a struggle mentally and emotionally but the journey has been so fulfilling. Loved this audiobook! Great narrator . This YA had romance but most importantly it showed girl power and the truth that no girl needs man. I am female hear me roar! Kicking footballs and taking no names . Highly recommend ⚽️
