How fitting that we had chicken alfredo tonite (fr Costco!), as I finished this very informative & eye opening account about both the structure & undoing of the Calabraian mafia, the Ndrangheta.

Although it's written in a very journalistic style, & therefore felt a bit detached & dry at times in its delivery, the subject matter is fascinating & I learned a great deal!

Starting to get 😴 so I'm hopping into bed with my favorite Ben & Jerry's flavor.

Time to try & make some headway in my book club book that's on my phone- I hate reading digitally but the library hold list was too long & I need to finish this baby by next Friday.

Pretty fitting that the beau & I went out for Italian tonight, the same day that I started my book club's current pick which deals with the Italian mafia & how some very brave women & mothers put their lives on the line & took them on. 🙆🏻‍♀️💪💁‍♀️

I can already tell this is not going to be your average #TrueCrime book, and I am ALL IN❣
