Here's another one of my all-time favourites. It's about how a decent person can be corrupted by relations that pop up as soon as he's given an important office. It was written in 1932 but is still eerily relevant.

Relations is a fascinating novel about how corruption chokes even decent, well-meaning people. How everyone around you turns out to be a relation once you get into a position of power. Written almost 100 years ago, it's still painfully relevant. Probably my all-time favourite #HungarianClassic.
Móricz adored Endre Ady, both as a poet and as a friend. Another Hungarian classic.
