I can't believe I've never posted about this book, one that I absolutely adore and re-read every couple of years. I could recount the plot, but that's not really the point here; instead, this book continues to move me through it's many gorgeously rendered moods and themes- of growing up, forgiveness, love, family, friendship, hope, longing, and understanding. It always leaves me feeling joyful but bittersweet, and I just can't get enough.
