The story was confusing and I just couldn't get into it. The art, however, was great.

Weird. Wild. Wondrous. This isn‘t the best thing I‘ve ever read - but it was definitely worth whiling away my early afternoon devouring all three volumes of this fantasy comic series. Think Mad Max meets LotR with a healthy dash of Witcher mixed in and you‘ve kinda got this series in a nutshell. Fun times 😄
Phantasmagorical is the first word that comes to mind having just finished this wildly inventive, crazy, colorful ride into post-apocalyptic high fantasy which is, apparently, a thing. And a great thing it is, too! A mutant unicorn, a wandering bard desperate to save his wife, heroes & villains (but which is which) & more. Love the story, world & main character, colors are brilliant, art is eye-goggling (just made that up!) Excellent & weird.
Finishing the month of March with a comic and then it‘s on to April!
#NCBD!!! I have to say, even the comics look ready for spring. So, this week it‘s Man-Eaters #7, Ironheart #4 (bummed I didn‘t see Eve L. Ewing at C2E2 but there‘s always next year), Amazing Spider-Man: Wakanda Forever #1 which I picked up when I saw Okorafor was the writer, Ms. Marvel, Vol. 5 because it‘s just great & Coda Vol. 1 because I‘ve heard good things about it. Yay 4 Wednesday!
Happy new #comics day everyone. Smaller haul so everything fits in one post this week. 🙂
Books of Magic is the final new series to begin for the Sandman Universe.
X-men Red (last issue for me(I'm dropping it)).
Return of Wolverine - so glad he's back.
Die Die Die from Robert Kirkman.
Lodger is crime noir from the writer of Stray Bullets. 👍
Coda at the halfway mark. An awesome sci/fantasy series.
XO MANOWAR continues being awesome.
