pickThis book is a biography of the renowned artist Frida Kahlo. It was published in 2004. The book shows and explain the life of Frida with the accompaniment of beautiful illustrations. The book is able to show the life of Frida into a way in which younger readers are able to understand and learn from.
Something that would be hard not to notice throughout this book has to be the illustrations. Through the illustrations, one learns where she is from.

This stuck out to me because of how the author was able to incorporate the guidance and help of parents, but also teaches and shows the reader how much he or she is learning from their parents/guardians. 4y
