I made it to the reading, and got a signed book. It's hard to believe the author is only 17! I also spun during the reading: some absolutely gorgeous corrie/merino/seacell blend I got as a free sample about a year ago from Fondant Fibre. #spinnersoflitsy
Mia Lauren Herrera is a local Albuquerque high school student who has self-published a book of poetry after challenging herself to get off social media and write a poem a day. She looks pretty awesome! There's a reading and signing at Bookworks this weekend I'm going to try attending.
