Lindy It would be subtle. Probably very nice because of the heather effect from a lot of dark purple in one with deep blue in the other. The smaller amounts of other colours would add tweedy richness, wouldn't they? 7y

julesG @tricours But some audiobooks are just plain awful. The book might be good but the narration drags it down. And I've recently had an audiobook that was so awful I was so confused that I lost track of which row I was knitting. 7y

Dolly I agree some audiobooks ARE terrible but are generally better than they were years ago (tapes). I had to LEARN how to listen & not drive or have another activity that took my attention for the first 20 pages or so. @tricours @julesG 7y

Dolly I also think listening vs reading uses different parts of your brain. When I used audiobooks exclusively my ability to spell correctly suffered 7y
