Thanks to Goodreads, I just discovered that five years ago this week I was in the middle of my very first Doctor Who New Adventures novel, Lungbarrow -- which was also the second-to-last New Adventures novel. Yes, I started a 61 book series with book 60. And while I was a little lost at times, I fell in love with the scope and complexity of the NAs. Since then I've read 22 more installments, jumping around the series, and I've enjoyed every one.
