I wont spoil it but there is a surprisingly hero in this.
The first half was a little slow for me. But the second half I found myself very invested in the story and trying to figure out a way for the characters to escape. A cool twist on a haunted house/demonic possession story. I liked the ending, but then the epilogue happened and made things seem too simple. Overall a 4 star book.
Nothing's happening. Nothing's happening. Something about bad dreams or something??? Nothing's happening. Nothing's happening... It's over. 😡
Strike ✌️ for this author.
After losing her husband, Caroline marries a seemingly perfect man. With her 2 kids in tow, she moves in with her new beau. The neighbors are creepy, mysterious voices are heard at night, & the nightmares may be more than just dreams.
This is my first John Saul read & it was a good solid creepy book. My criticisms are that I would have liked more explanations & also I wish I could have reached into the book to shake some sense into Caroline. 😂
Super creepy and predictable. Perfect read for a sick day when my brain needed a break. 🤧
This was a 25 cent find at a library book sale. Taking it back old school to John Saul; an old favorite from the 90's. Still trying to break out of my reading slump this month. 2017 will be better.
