pickFinished this one last week and really enjoyed it. My only complaint is that after drooling over the cookies throughout the book, there were no recipes at the end :( This is the first in a new series and I just received the 2nd book yesterday!
Where has the summer gone? My daughter leaves for college Thurs and my son begins 8th Grade Thurs. I am not ready to let my babies out of my sight. I am struggling horribly with the idea of them going to in-school learning with Covid-19.

Read this one in only a couple days and it was perfect for this time of the year, or any time!! So heartwarming and I loved the wisdom throughout the book!

It is the second in thrilling series that gives the reader a look into the "what if" of a world that is faced with a devastating aftermath of a quick spreading disease. The idea that this is not so far out of the realm of possibility makes it even more of an engrossing and captivating read.

pickThis is an amazing spiral of a story that provokes a multitude of emotions throughout the entire tale. I was drawn into the characters from the beginning page until the final page. I was truly blown away by Mr. McKissen, the characters that he created and the story that he weaved. Filled with tense moments, suspense, emotions and surprising twists, The Poor and The Haunted is one of the best reads that I have read this year!

pickI absolutely loved this story! Sheila Roberts is such an amazing author that always brings a smile to my face and brings me out of any reading slump. The characters are brought to life in such a way that I felt as though they were old friends. The story is heartwarming, fun and the perfect amount of romance. I cannot recommend this book highly enough!!

Quick question. I have found several Christmas/Holiday themed books that I really want to read. They sound amazing. The problem? They are part of a series. I have not read the series, but the holiday themed books sound great. One is the tagged book. Do any of you have this problem? If so, can Holiday themed books stand alone? Thanks!
