What happens when a bad boy becomes a man? Nate Davis didn't plan on returning to his hateful hometown. But then, he didn't plan on being widowed in his twenties, or on his mother getting sick, either. Turns out, life doesn't give a f$*k about plans. Hannah Kabbah thought her career in childcare was over. After all, no-one wants a woman with a criminal damage conviction watching their kids. But when her high school crush returns to Ravenswood with two kids in tow, she gets the second chance she never dreamed of. She also gets to know Nate - the real Nate. The one whose stony exterior hides aching vulnerability. Who makes her smile when she wants to fall apart. Who is way, way more than the bad boy persona he earned so long ago, and way too noble to ever sleep with the nanny. So it's a good thing she's completely over that teenage crush, right?

This whole series needs to be talked about more because it‘s so good. Family relationships are so true and honest. And the miscommunication in this book made sense and was a great part of the story.

Hannah has had a crush on Nate since elementary school and now he‘s back in town and in need of a nanny. A perfect fit for Hannah. Except the two are attracted to each other and that boss/employee thing is getting in the way.

SOMEBODY decided we were under attack at 4am. I got up and sat with him for over an hour, took ages to fall back asleep, and stayed abed until almost 11 because I struggled to wake all the way up.

So much for crushing my Saturday to-do list in a timely fashion. At least I finished UNTOUCHABLE while I was trying to get my brain and body to cooperate. It was great. Talia Hibbert knows what she‘s about.

GypsyKat Awe! But just look at that little face! 😍 5y

Book. Beer. Christmas tree.

I didn‘t get much reading time yesterday. I aim to make up for that tonight.

When I read ebooks, I sit across from the tree so I can gaze adoringly at it. When I read paper books, I sit right beside the tree so I can see the page without turning on any other lights.

I‘ve sat on UNTOUCHABLE for waaaaaay too long while I focused on series rereads and 1310-page behemoths. That changes today.
