Hunkering down with this cos it's a tad windy. Chosen from tbr pile for nature writing challenge as fits journal and garden categories.
It's Derek Jarman's journals wrote after his HIV diagnosis and during his design and nurturing of his beautiful garden at Prospect Cottage, Dungeness in Kent.

I will be thinking about this one for a long time. Didn‘t know much about Jarman‘s body of work when I started. Streamed “The Garden” and investigated more online. Diary of a humble, gentle, creative, much loved man.
