This story is modern and entertaining, I could not put it down and finished in one day. but the characters could have been filled out a bit more for me. I think for me knowing it is based on a web series I expected more information to be filled in. *I have not watched the web series.

So many mixed feelings on this one. On one hand I loved the series and it was nice to read a novelization that filled in some of the off-camera bits. And it was really fun! On the other hand, the writing didn't feel very strong, and I really wanted more depth and fleshing out of storylines/ characters.

In short, I'd recommend to people who loved the web series, but not as a jumping in point for anyone who hasn't seen it.

rachelsbrittain @HOTPock3tt I think it'll be a fun one for people who loved the series so I imagine you'll like it! I enjoyed it I just had enough qualms (and thought it might not be as appealing to non-fans) that I felt like I couldn't give it more than a so-so. I think it comes out in May 😊🤗 5y

rachelsbrittain @SailorMoon haha no it's not. That's a little bit of photoshop magic actually because the cover wasn't showing up on the egalley. It's a kindle paperwhite (which I love)-- just with a bit of quick photo editing 🙈 5y
