This is a great story about friendship. I know that I have felt like bear and goose before! I think that this is an important story to share with students to show that it's okay to have a little space but it's also okay to really care about your pals. I think this would be a good addition to any classroom.

This picture books tells the story of a goose and a bear. The bear just wants to be left alone and the duck wants to hang out with his friend! Goose keeps getting on Bear's nerves but eventually Bear comes around and realizes that he's got a pretty good friend. I like this story because it shows that sometimes friends don't always get along but that they can still be friends.

This book was adorable and something I think children in my classroom would love to read. The message was good for children to, everyone needs a friend even if sometimes they act like they don‘t.

A Splendid Friend, Indeed by Suzanne Bloom, 2005. Picture Book. This book was so so cute ! Just looking at the cover I was smiling. The polar bear and duck look so friendly and adorable. The colors the author chose were perfect and it made the feeling of happiness even stronger. At the end of the book when the duck and polar bear were hugging the use of purple made it seem like the polar bear was bursting out happiness.

I do not think this is a good picture book because I feel like it applies more towards adults than children. It feels like adults are trying to pressure children into like reading.

This book would be great for new children who haven't made many friends at school. It's a book about making friendships.

This book was a simple and easy read. The illustrations help create meaning with the text. They show the emotions of the characters as well as tell the story. The pictures alone could tell the story.

this is a very sweet and inspiring story. I could relate to both of the characters and felt encouraged to not let things that annoy me take over, because i‘m this case the bird had great intentions. The plot was great and really shares a lesson for children.

This book is about a bear and. A duck where the bear likes to read and write and shares with his friend duck. This book does a great job with illustrating line on the drawing of the bear.

A Splendid Friend, Indeed is a very cute book. It tells a good story about a duck who keeps interrupting his friend while reading and writing. I think children will enjoy this book because of the pictures. The pictures of the polar bear being annoyed with the duck are funny. Overall, this is a good book.
