We already had five of them, which kiddo wasn‘t ready to return. Then she wished we‘d brought them, because she wanted more. So I let her decimate the library‘s Greek mythology shelf. They had three left, because she has already read them several times. Now she‘s reading Hermes to her dolls for their history lesson.

Librarians, yay or nay on checking out whole series at once?

Amiable That's awesome! My sons loved Greek myths when they were younger, too. Such great stories! 5y

RadicalReader @ravenlee I love checking out a series all at once then can jump right from one to the next. What has been your favorite series to read of all time? 5y
ravenlee @RadicalReader I have several series I love - Patricia Briggs‘ Mercy Thompson/Alpha & Omega; Ilona Andrews‘ Kate Daniels; Kelley Armstrong‘s Otherworld; Anne Bishop‘s Others. For reading with the kiddo, we adore Nancy Drew, Tuesdays at the Castle, and Chronicles of Prydain. 5y
