Just WOW. So much happened in this book. Almost felt like it should‘ve been two books. Worked well enough for the story and it‘s “parts”. This final desperation had me in tears. I could feel her pain at the thought of loosing her connection to the noorestones and dragons. Who means more then the world to her. Mira loves La La more then she fears her gods rising. This conversation she finally had with the Drakontus celestus spirit was a great touch
I love these two little dragons. This books continues to get politically interesting. What with the corrupt governments or each island selling out to the enemy. There‘s always a catch as to what is happening. Although one thing never changes; Mira is still holding on to hope. That she has the power or the noorestones and dragons to stand up and make things right. No matter what. Even her (very relatable) anxiety
Loving this book so much. Don‘t want this trilogy to end! Mira is trying so hard to stop her corrupt governments, that of her island and surrounding ones, from making things worst. The island god of Idris already rose, which island is next? Also, there are actual dragons (treated as the gods/goddess children), of many species, which I adore. Love everything with dragons, and using a scientific name like Drakontos makes them feel more real
They called me Hopebearer; because hope was too heavy a burden for them.
I love that this author does a special pre-order promotion if you order though her local independent bookstore. Yes I ordered my copy there so my entire set is signed.
