The Gentle Art Of Swedish Death Cleaning (FREE BONUS) Declutter Yourself And Live A Balanced, Richer And Happier Life! Death cleaning is a well-known tradition that is pursued by numerous people around the world who become quite advanced in age. In regard to Swedish death cleaning, the synonym which is known as Döstädning, a number of articles, books and guides have already been written by local authors from their own perspectives and based on their personal experiences which usually were constructed after the demise of their parents, leaving them with a serious dilemma and huge burdens due to the enormity of possessions which were not that possible to manage. We intend in this guide to highlight the death cleaning tradition in a way that introduces you properly to it and gets you ready to implement it with knowledge, awareness and confidence when you come close to senility, so that you would not overburden your children and family in general with belongings and items which they most probably would not be in need of, and you would exempt them from the responsibility and heavy duty of handling your belongings, and free them from the dilemma they would likely fall in following your departure. In this guide, you will be going through the essential steps and rules to follow, as well as how to handle the belongings you have chosen to declutter. We are hopeful that you would have acquired an acceptable capability of carrying out this practice by the time you are done reading.

Trying to purge my way to better mental health today and I‘m not sure there is anything gentle about it

willaful Been working hard on this too and it's very stressful! 2w
mcctrish @willaful I laughed out loud when the author said men aren‘t good purgers and like to hang onto things and I‘m debating telling my husband about some of the things I‘m removing from this house 2w
AmyG I moved across country, so was forced to do alot of this. It‘s very hard. I still have more to do. 2w

willaful @mcctrish I have done that, but I feel so guilty afterwards! Thankfully my husband has improved a lot, though his closet still rivals Fibber McGees. 2w
TEArificbooks My hubby will literally hang on to a pair of underwear until it has so many rips and holes it turns into a butt flap. So over the years I just throw away his hole filled underwear and socks quietly without him noticing. I think he thinks magical fairies keep them looking like new all the time (instead of me secretly tossing them and replacing them). I‘m a purger too. He would be a hoarder if not for me. 2w
SamAnne Okay, stacking. 2w
Bette Why is it so hard?! I keep trying…it‘s a lot. 2w
mcctrish @Bette I‘m trying to stick to one room at a time but the reality is I‘m ping ponging all over the house 2w
Bette I hear that. 2w

It was short. I agree with the idea of not leaving a mess for your loved ones but otherwise it was mostly a dud for me. I read it for my upcoming book group meeting on Monday. Then I will death clean it right out of my house because it‘s going in the donate box. #awesomeapril

BarbaraTheBibliophage I just read they‘re making a limited series of this. Maybe on Netflix. I‘m not sure since I didn‘t care for the book either. 4y
CocoReads Definitely not one I‘ll be watching. I‘ll mention it to my bestie-this was her pick. I love her, but we do not have the same taste in books. 4y
Andrew65 Oh dear 😔 4y
