Informative and easy to read. She makes herbalism seem easily attainable. Beautiful color photographs highlight each herb she discusses. Excellent to have on your shelf

I was feeling a little overwhelmed with gardening info. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this coming off of an organic gardening guide. I put it by my bed and grabbed it at 2 this morning as I got up for work. I started reading it while on my porcelain chair and determined I would read it. I know...TMI.😁

1/5⭐
-includes essential oils in ingestible recipes
-equates “non-toxic“ with “safe“ and constantly says everything in the book is safe (which isn't true and isn't even a perspective the author shares given her begrudging (and often inadequate) warning notes for some of the herbs)
-frequently refers to “studies“ without a single identifier or citation
-includes in recipes herbs that the book doesn't discuss at all
-uses a Romani slur
