Pickpick

I liked this. I love my herbs and spices and it's gratifying to read about how they are doing me good.
Most of these are readily available: you might have them already in your garden or on your windowsill. Oh, and she includes tea and coffee! The recipes themselves are by and large simple and unfussy; infused oils and vinegars, that kind of thing. It's a kitchen herbal not an apothecary's. The focus is on using the herbs that are right for you.

Had a surprisingly fabulous spot of luck in the book corner of Goodwill. I don‘t usually find this many books but it seemed someone had dropped off many queer reads and witchy books from their collection, as well as authors I‘ve read and enjoyed! Plus an instant pot book that tells me how to use the darn thing 🤭 #BookHaul #UsedBooks

The wonderful Gina at The Shabby Creek Cottage is doing her #75soft framework again. I'm going to do this and thought I would share it after yesterday's post about everything being too much atm. It starts on Monday and runs until Halloween. 🎃

I'm trying to sneak a little #hyggehour every day if you would like to join me.

rockpools This is lovely! I‘m not really on Litsy enough to join the tag list (overwhelm control - even Litsy & WhatsApp are too peoply just now) - but a big thank you for introducing me to the idea. I‘m going to give it (or a version of it) a go. And 🤗 to you - wishing you a more peaceful autumn. 5mo
AllDebooks @rockpools I completely understand the overwhelm. It's why I shared it, to hopefully reach out and cope. We're all in this together x 5mo

Mehso-so

3.5/5

A little too centered on England, with such a generic name I expected a broader exploration of Erbalism in various cultures that are just spotted here and there. I do recognize the huge research behind this book though, and will explore more books in the author's bibliography.

Longer review on Goodreads and NetGalley
