3.5/5

A little too centered on England, with such a generic name I expected a broader exploration of Erbalism in various cultures that are just spotted here and there. I do recognize the huge research behind this book though, and will explore more books in the author's bibliography.

Longer review on Goodreads and NetGalley

Pickpick

I think this is a good little overview for beginners. Sure, it‘s not an “end all, be all” reference to end all references, but it‘s a good place to start that won‘t overwhelm someone that is new and curious. Beautiful photography and great resource list! Fun way to spend a morning off work. 🪴

Always at work, always reading this book
But I'm close to finishing it, so I can then focus on other books.

I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought, but it's not too bad. Just very english-centered ig.

I also have a date for my move to Germany and I'm very nervous and excited. Need to translate my resume and start sending out applications 😅

julesG Good luck with the move and applications. Where in Germany are you moving to? 3mo

One of my current reads. At work. (It's so dark because I'm in the archaeology section...)

I'm not feeling good at all emotionally, I feel like I'm completely cut out from community and when I try to bring it up I'm treated like crap. So I'm trying to distract myself with reading, but eh

Have you read this book?

slategreyskies I know that feeling. Sometimes in life, reading has been all that‘s kept me going. Hang in there. 🫂 5mo
Eggbeater You're always welcome here. ❤️‍🩹 5mo
thereadingpal @slategreyskies it used to be for me, and now that I'm back into reading ... I can see it being so again 5mo
