I‘m doing a little catch-up on the #Haunted challenge today. Here‘s prompt 5, vampire! I don‘t have many books with vampires on or in them (other than the Twilight books my husband brought into our home from his teenage days 🤔).

Our werewolves and other mythical beings have fairy problems in this one when their least favorite people in the world get tricked and trapped by fairy food (amateurs!). Although it‘s cute and has a fun story and beautiful art, I didn‘t enjoy this as much as vol.1. I think it was mostly that I wasn‘t entirely sure half the time why the werewolves were fighting, and they spent most of the book mad at each other. #comic #fantasy #LGBTQ

I'm starting in on Moonstruck 2, and I'm delighted to see this Neopets-like element here in the begining. They're even describing using pens to change the color and aesthetic elements of it, similar to the Neopets paintbrush system (and look at that clearly-not-Neopets logo! I am delighted!). I spent so much time in elementary and middle school playing Neopets! #Nostalgia #Throwback #Neopets #Comic #LGBTQ

Still has good artwork but there seems to be some gaps in the story. Definitely not as good as the first volume but still worth seeing how the story goes. It ends on “coming soon” nite so if there isn‘t anything after this that kind of bites.

This is basically my life motto, although I might say only have a smidge of fun. Constant vigilance!
