The Death of Squirrel Girl! Squirrel Girl attends a funeral - her own! But how is that possible? Who is that in the coffi n? Hmm, wonder if it has anything to do with all those Skrulls who have recently surfaced... COLLECTING: THE UNBEATABLE SQUIRREL GIRL 37-42

Well, October was a lacklustre month. I had a few 4-star reads (this being my I Loved It rating), but no 4.5s or 5s. Most of what I read earned 3.5 stars (my I Really Liked It rating) or less.

Sigh.

I also saw minimal TBR reduction since I managed my library holds poorly. I sure hope November‘s better.

twohectobooks Oof, 40 books doesn‘t seem all that lacklustre to me! I finished 4. 5y
xicanti @twohectobooks I more meant the impact the books had on me. I‘m happy to really like things when I‘ve also got a lot of stellar books in the mix, but very few things stood out last month and I didn‘t read anything remarkable. 😔 5y
twohectobooks @xicanti ah, i see. That‘s too bad! 5y

Squirrel Girl and Nancy remain the best people ever. Koi Boy gets a chance to shine. The Squirrel Girl crew gets to use computer science to solve problems. Ms Quizzler, a new villain, has a great costume, Tony Start has issues with emotions and Civil War gets gently mocked. Plus, the team rescues a refugee!
