Well, October was a lacklustre month. I had a few 4-star reads (this being my I Loved It rating), but no 4.5s or 5s. Most of what I read earned 3.5 stars (my I Really Liked It rating) or less.

Sigh.

I also saw minimal TBR reduction since I managed my library holds poorly. I sure hope November‘s better.

xicanti @twohectobooks I more meant the impact the books had on me. I‘m happy to really like things when I‘ve also got a lot of stellar books in the mix, but very few things stood out last month and I didn‘t read anything remarkable. 😔 4y

Squirrel Girl and Nancy remain the best people ever. Koi Boy gets a chance to shine. The Squirrel Girl crew gets to use computer science to solve problems. Ms Quizzler, a new villain, has a great costume, Tony Start has issues with emotions and Civil War gets gently mocked. Plus, the team rescues a refugee!
