⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 this was fine. Some of what she said came off somewhat privileged; in other parts her optimism was uplifting. Not a whole lot there.

I‘m listening to the author read this one. I love an Australian accent. I love a message of love over fear.
But I really do not love being called ‘beautiful,‘ ‘gorgeous,‘ ‘darling,‘ and other terms of endearment in my self-help reading.
I also don‘t like being called ‘hon‘ by the cashier or ‘sweetie‘ by the hostess, but at least I‘m consistent!
This one is a #TBR; I think I heard the author on a podcast. I am #myownworstenemy for sure - I'm hard on people, but hardest on myself.

I always make sure I read some personal development every single day.
"...don't let your darkness stop you from shining your light."
I'm never all that into self help books, but this one is really speaking to me (and my inner mean girl!), and keeping me focused on self love.
A nice book about personal development. easy to read & lots of good advice. I have been alittle peeved with some of her advice (never drink tap water!!!) but take it with a grain of salt. Great read if you are interested in personal development.
