You know how sometimes you get obsessed with some random thing and end up in an Internet rabbit hole? That was me earlier this week, trying to find a pickle bookmark for myself. I ended up getting all of these from Etsy, just to get a better deal and "save" some money. My mom is getting the giraffe, the pickle is mine, and the others? They'll either be gifts for someone IRL or on Litsy! #shopaholic #myownworstenemy

Everytime , my head says "Nope, there's plenty on your shelves, what are you doing??" but my finger just accidentally clicks on the page and it's over. $200 later I come to to find emailed receipts in my inbox. I am so excited I ordered these books online and they came in yesterday! I saw these books here on Litsy and on Booktube and I went back a forth for a few months on whether I was going to shell out the money for the books and shipping and last month I gave in! Did I need to join netgalley? No, but I am #myownworstenemy. Now on top of the hundreds of unread books and ebooks awaiting me I had arc's to catch up on this weekend, including this one. This is a second book in a series about mobsters. These books are over the top and when I never expect to finish them but they are silly fun with lots of eye roll enduring moments. But a cop and mobster falling in love? Had to see where that was going. #90sinjuly

That sure sucked, but at least I got in an hour of quality #audio time with Augusten Burroughs talking about getting sober and his struggle with codependence. #reread
