I mostly liked this one. There is a lot of technical science, military/oceanic law & gun knowledge. The heroine is a 13 yr old zombie killing machine. However that Is also the prob with this book, it teeters on pedophilic w/men drooling over this little girl. The father calls his daughters hotties & says he can hardly blame these men for wanting them. They're 13 and 15. NOT COOL.

A bit more than half- done. Really enjoying it now that I'm recovering from operation. I especially like the main characters Faith and Sophie and their sisterly exchanges. Not quite sure how it will finish. But an enjoyable zombie adventure at any rate.

My book club owes me for time and money on this. 10 have finished so far and the average rating is ONE STAR.

The writing is elementary, the plot is a straight line (descending in quality & ingenuity), repeated disgusting digressions into ways that sex with underaged/young teen girls might be justifiable in an apocalyptic scenario.

This was the worst book we've read in several years. Take a hard pass.
