Martyr's Song
Martyr's Song | Ted Dekker
2 posts | 9 read
What would you die for? That's the question suddenly thrust upon a small band of women and children in Bosnia at the close of World War II. When a group of bitter soldiers stumble upon their peaceful village, they suddenly face an insidious evil . . . and the ultimate test. It is then, in the midst of chaos and pain that the Martyr's Song is first heard. It is then that the window into heaven first opens. It is then that love and beauty are shown in breathtaking reality. You have in your hands the story and the song that changed . . . everything.

I don't have a #favoritetearjerkerbook, but all of these have moved me to tears, and I've reread them all. Words can be so powerful, and these books showcase that beautifully. #janinbooks18

For #lent this year, I want to reread some of the Christian fiction that most effected me in the past. These are all great options. #marchmadness

Smangela What a unique idea - I'll admit I haven't figured out what I'm doing for lent yet... maybe I'll adopt this! 8y
Celeste57 Thanks, @Smangela . I'm not Catholic (Baptist here), so I usually just try to think more about Christ during Lent, and deep Christian fiction is the best way I've found to do that. 😉 8y
