This is a lot of fun. I would imagine that'd be the case even if you don't know much about Daniel Johnston.

This was such a fantastic (and short) read. Not going to lie, I didn't know anything about Daniel Johnston before reading this, but he's such a fascinating, troubled character. And it has that classic Scott McClanahan style where the lines between fiction and biography are blurred. This is such a fantastic look into the mind of disturbed artists and their plight to create amid mental illness. Definitely recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Excited about this one! Daniel Johnston was a part of my '80's in Austin!
Listen up and I'll tell a story, about an artist growing old.
