pickBook 132 I listened to this post-apocalyptic book. Humans survive by scavenging for food or joining pirate-like communities that steal and kill to live. This may sound unappealing, but it was unique enough to be engaging and the main plot line (Myra seeking her older daughter from whom she was separated) was compelling enough to feel worthwhile. I'm unsure whether I would have felt as positive if I hadn't listened to it.
I‘ve got a hundred pages left and a two hour flight. Let‘s do this!
