Belated March TBR!
Belated Feb wrap-up! I finished 5 books, but was in a reading slump and nonfiction audio was mainly what I was able to focus on.
🥇How the Word is Passed
🥈Magic Claims
🥉The Second
Belated Feb wrap-up! I finished 5 books, but was in a reading slump and nonfiction audio was mainly what I was able to focus on.
🥇How the Word is Passed
🥈Magic Claims
🥉The Second
January wrap-up 📚 I finished 11 books and had a great kickoff to the reading year!
🥇How Far the Light Reaches
🥈Into Thin Air
🥉Check & Mate
January #botm picks - I'm SO EXCITED that these were options, all are on my tbr.
November reading wrap-up! I finished 9 books this month, including 2 ARCs.
🥇The Last Tale of the Flower Bride
🥈La Petite Mort
🥉Iron Flame
October wrap-up! I finished 11 books with no duds.
🥇Love, Theoretically
🥈Mortal Follies
🥉Doppelganger
My #botm picks for November! I'm really excited about these, and I added the new Jesmyn Ward to my tbr to maybe add on next month.
I wanted to participate in Dewey's 24-hour readathon, but I did a clinic today and was exhausted afterwards. I have Monday off though, so I'm still hoping to do a belated sorta-readathon. #weekendreads @rachelsbrittain
Great timing for a readathon - I have 2 audiobooks and 2 physical books I want to make a lot of progress on.
#outstandingoctober @Andrew65
September wrap-up! I finished 9 books, most of them fall-ish reads.
🥇The Atlas Paradox
🥈Such Sharp Teeth
October TBR 🔮👻🧛🏻♀️🧙♀️🎃🐺🍂
My October #botm picks! I was swayed by reviews to pick both.
Felt so peaceful getting to read on my roof after work. Also loving this book.
Halfway through the 2023 #botm reading challenge! 7 more to go by the end of the year 💪
I've had both 5⭐️ and 2⭐️ botm reads so far this year, hoping for more of the former moving forward.
July wrap-up 📚
🥇The Love Hypothesis (re-read)
🥈Fourth Wing
🥉Fairytales of the Macabre
August #botm pick! The Alice Hoffman add-on sounded interesting, but I wasn't sure enough to make it a pick. And I went with a member fave rather than a new choice.
August TBR! I want to catch up on ARCs and BOTM picks, as well as finish some current reads.
During the #reversereadathon I managed to read the last 221 pages of Thank You for Listening, the first 80 pages of For Butter or Worse, and just a bit of my eARC of Forget Me Not. It definitely helped give me a reading boost! @DeweysReadathon
My tbr for the #reversereadathon that starts tonight and goes until 8pm EST tomorrow! (or, for me, until I go see the Barbie movie at 7!) My tbr seems to be all romance, and is also made up of a bunch of books I've started and would like to actually finish. @DeweysReadathon
June TBR 🌈 I'm bi, so I like to read queer lit all year, but in June I like to focus almost exclusively on LGBTQIA+ reads.
May wrap-up! I finished 11 books including 2 Pride & Prejudice retellings, one classic, and one BOTM pick.
🥇Yellowface
🥈Letters to a Young Poet
🥉Divine Rivals
June #botm picks! I'm excited for these 2 but I was really surprised that the new Ali Hazelwood wasn't an option.
Making some good progress on #20in4 ! I finished Yellowface, which was SO GOOD, and I've gotten over halfway through Imogen, Obviously, which I'm loving. And I'm almost done with Grim and Bear It, which is ok. Definitely hit 10 hours.
Joining in for #20in4 this weekend! There are a few books I'd like to finish before the end of May and/or get a head start on my June tbr. #readathon @Andrew65
Really wasn't feeling any of the May #botm picks 😕 Was really hoping the new R.F. Kuang book would be an option since Babel was a previous pick, but no luck. I guess it's still a possibility for June?
#botm yearly challenge update: I'm 1/3 of the way done! 10 botm reads to go for 2023. I'm also really glad that 2 of these (Babel and I Have Some Questions for You) were 5⭐️ reads.
March Wrap-up! Finished 12 books including 2 ARCs and participated in the #transrightsreadathon .
🥇Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries
🥈A Strange and Stubborn Endurance
🥉I Have Some Questions for You
My #botm picks for April! I've been making predictions and every month I'm very wrong about what the choices are 🤣 These both sound very good!
I'm doing the #transrightsreadathon this week after hearing about it over on bookstagram. The tagged book is my current read and I'm LOVING it so far!
March TBR! I've got a few ARCs and 2 BoTM picks on here, and a mix of short and long titles.
Feb reading wrap-up! Crazy month so I read a lot less than usual.
🥇Out of Character
🥈The Dark Fantastic
🥉Radiant Sin
January wrap-up! I finished 10 books from a bunch of different genres, including 3 books by Rachel Harrison, a local author who's becoming a favorite. 🥇goes to Ocean's Echo, but I also loved The Return, Bad Dolls, The Employees, People Person, and Two Wrongs Make a Right.
Finished my first 5⭐️ read of 2022! I loved this author's first book (Winter's Orbit) but this one was even better. Really fascinating, twisty scifi with excellently developed main characters. I love a messy, prickly protagonist, and Ocean's Echo definitely has that. I'll read whatever this author comes out with.
Finished my first book for #joyousjanuary - this one is a soft pick for me, maybe 3.5⭐️. The romance was cute, but the second half of the book had some very weird plot choices. I enjoyed the first book in this series, Delilah Green Doesn't Care, a lot more.
My long-awaited January #botm , and my socks for completing the 2022 reading challenge, got here!
January is a great time for a readathon, so I'm joining on on #joyousjanuary hosted by @Andrew65 . 📚
