My top 10 favorite reads of 2021! Hoping to discover more new favorites in 2022.
Belated TBR for the #20in4 readathon this weekend! I've been stuck in the middle of a few books for awhile and could use some reading motivation, plus I'm staying in for New Years with so many people testing positive. Thanks for creating this @Andrew65 !
My #top21of21 ! I saw this tag going around and it's great seeing everyone's yearly favorites, so here are mine! I feel like I was lucky to read so many awesome books this year 😊
Both of my #botm picks were on my tbr/most anticipated releases of 2021 list, so I'm looking forward to picking them up! And since I finished the yearly challenge this month, socks included 🧦
I finished the #botm 2021 reading challenge! Particularly excited bc I didn't manage to complete the challenge in 2020. Excited for my socks in the next box!
None of the #botm picks or available member faves appealed to me this month. Fingers crossed for better picks in August!
I know that the #botm picks likely won't be up until probably next week, but it doesn't stop me from being impatient and hoping that the tagged book is a pick! Anyone else?
Super excited that the new Emily Henry was a pick! Can't wait to read it. Have heard amazing things about Caste snd have been picking up a lot of nonfiction lately. Definitely would have also added Love in Color but I already requested from the publisher. #botm
Loved this one! Great, character-driven scifi featuring the multiverse theory, a suspicious tech company, elements reminiscient of Mad Max:Fury Road, and a protagonist determined to survive even though her selves on other worlds have almost all died. #botm
Feb TBR! I've already started several of these, but I'm not sure where my reading will go after that. I want to read at least one of my eARCs from NetGalley (Down Comes the Night) and a few of these (Legendborn, Fates & Furies, and Honey Girl) will count for the #botm reading challenge.
January reading wrap-up! I made it through 10 books this month, my favorite of which was The Office of Historical Corrections. I've made a solid start on my #botm reading challenge with 3 books and also read two 2021 eARCs. Overall a great reading month!
Am I crazy, or are there only 2 new add-on options for #botm this month other than the main 5 picks?
I'm really excited for Honey Girl but was hoping for some add-on options...
I was expecting to skip December, but when I saw that Roxane Gay gave the tagged book 5⭐️ on Goodreads and called the author "the finest short story writer working today," it was a no-brainer. And the add-ons were on my tbr, so now I ended up with 3 books again. ? #botm
Currently reading a mystery/thriller to kick off my fall reading (I like to read seasonally and mystery/thrillers just seem like fall!). I'm enjoying it so far, particularly the characters and sense of place.
