3.5 outta 5 ⭐

Watching Ken's slow transformation is stressful. Obviously he's becoming more badass, but at what cost? I suppose that's the point. There's an extremely rough torture scene in this one and while Yamori gets his just dues, Ken is absolutely gunna be a different character after this.

I love these covers. They are all pieces of art and so beautiful 😍 .

This volume is truly all the feels. It‘s a tough one, but the story is actually heating up and taking some exciting turns.

So I read a total of 6 volumes of Tokyo Ghoul during my Japan trip thanks to my Kindle Paperwhite 👍 And now that I‘m back home, I plan on reading more of the series again - so good!! A definite page-turner 😉

7 was my favorite volume ❤️ so heartbreaking, but that character development was completely necessary #tokyoghoul #manga #mangareader

This one is where the MAJOR character development I told you about happens. I feel that this series gets darker as we continue, which is also fitting to how Kaneki's mental state is becoming.
