pickThe Reluctant Duchess is not only a brilliant fresh story, it's interlaced with many of our favorite and not so favorite characters from the first book. Rowena is the perfect addition to the already vibrant area personalities. Rowena has an Irish burr that takes a few chapters to get used to, but soon becomes an added layer to her, and not a hindrance to the story.
pickI'm really enjoying this series. In book 2 you follow the story of Brice, Duke of Nottingham, who meets Rowena in the Scottish highlands. Difficult circumstances throw them together. Now married Rowena must learn to trust Brice when the men in her life have treated very cruelly. And Brice must learn to trust that marrying Rowena was the right choice. Brice must also deal with the red diamonds that he took charge of in book 1. Ready for book 3!
Dying to get back to my book! The heroine just found out that her friend is actually the horrible person her husband said she was. But I was super productive at work today. Put together a cube unit for my office that my Friends of the Library purchased for me. #librarian
Book 2 in the series. One thing I like about these books is that the author puts a cast of characters in the front so you can keep track of everyone.
