Finished my first #AuthorAMonth book for 2024 @Soubhiville

Not having read Jane Austen before I wasn‘t sure what to expect from this book. Overall I quite enjoyed it but definitely a very different style of book about a very different time and culture. Based on this I would be happy to read other books by her.

Andrew65 @Soubhiville I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would, but would quickly become bored I think if I read many of these. 4mo

jenniferw88 I was thinking about you and Northanger last night and wondering how you were getting on! If you want to try another, Sense and Sensibility might be a good fit (it's my second fave after Northanger Abbey, and as we have similar reading tastes, it might be a good for you). I would avoid EMMA & PERSUASION if I were you. 4mo

Andrew65 @Soubhiville Hi @soubhiville sorry for not replying sooner, but been missing in action the last few weeks due to a major flare up of my Crohn‘s Disease, and other things I‘ve been dealing with.
