Pickpick

When the two-book series is generally good, but the ending is so unsatisfying! 😡

Bailedbailed

This was such a disappointment, simply because it's the end of the series but does not feel resolved at all. This feels like a middle book in a trilogy; the ending was somewhat abrupt and did not do justice to the first book, which I immensely enjoyed. There were some decent parts to it- her struggle with magic and the morality behind the stones, for example, but the new romance and loss of love for soran didn't make sense. ⭐️1/2 of 5

elkeOriginal Agreed! Thank you for making me feel less crazy - I was so annoyed by this let-down of an ending. 8y
AlexandraGriffin @elkeo it really felt like a non-resolution! Nothing changed. she didn't really grow as a character. Or she started to, but then stagnated. Ugh. It was such a let down because I enjoyed the first one so much 8y
