Started listening to #Vigilante, book 2 in the Jessica Daniel Series.

New year, same inability to concentrate on anything substantive. 😔 Wilkinson‘s plot points sometimes veer into the absurd and there are little investigatory details that grate but I‘ll be spending a lot of time with Jessica Daniel this year. 👍🏼#SeriesRead2021

I enjoyed this second book in the Jessica Daniels series. I find myself very attached to the characters and enjoy reading about their willingness to do anything to solve the crimes. I will definitely be reading more books in this series.

The saving grace for me was Jess. I really like her as a lead character and I can‘t help myself from rooting for her even when she‘s behaving badly. It‘s her compassionate side that really wins me over, she truly cares about her victims families and they are the driving force behind her desire to bring killers to justice. Despite my disappointment with this one, I‘m still looking forward to reading more of this series.
