I binged the second and third volumes of Deadly Class last night, thanks to the Hoopla app. My reactions to the two volumes were polar. Loved volume two. Felt like it took everything that was setup in volume one and blew it up. Volume three, however, felt like the series was just treading water. My main gripe still stands. I want to see daily life in this school, and that‘s pretty much ignored. #graphicnovel

This cover is so cool!!! More importantly, I‘m almost done spamming everyone with my kicked-into-overdrive Free Comic Book Day crazed comic reading fest. This second volume of Deadly Class features a whole lot of angst in the midst of the student assassins getting ready to take on another group of killers all while trying to hide the truth of what happened to one of their members in Vol. 1. So yeah, lots going on in this dark, entertaining read.

This is not a story about normal kids, this is the story of kids who've had some of the most horrific things possible happen to them in their life.
