A gruesome ritual murder has stained the Oxfordshire countryside. Now it's plunging Alex and Joel into a deadly war between the living and the unloving-and against a horrifying tradition given new life by the blood of the innocent.

so-so

Was off to a great start. Lots of action. Loved the plot and the urban fantasy world created. Went downhill after the last third of the novel. Too many things happened conveniently (hey look I found an empty garage with a motorbike in Rural Romania) to cheesy terminology. Ubervampyr....really? SMH. It's an okay read. If you're willing to let those shortfalls pass you by.
