Marc Spector is Moon Knight! Or is he? It's hard to tell these days, especially when New York's wildest vigilante protects the street with two-fisted justice and three - that's right, count 'em - three different personalities! But even with the mystical force of Egyptian moongod Khonshu fueling his crusade, how does the night's greatest detective save a city that's as twisted as he is? The road to victory is going to hurt. A lot. Be here as Moon Knight punches ghosts(!), investigates a sleep experiment that's driving its patients insane, travels to the mushroom graveyard planet(!!), and takes on twenty mob enforcers to save an abductee...alone. Marvel's most mind-bending adventure begins now as Moon Knight sleuths his way to the rotten core of New York's most bizarre mysteries! COLLECTING: MOON KNIGHT 1-6

This. Was. Awesome. FINALLY another good Moon Knight series. Warren Ellis does a great job writing this. Marc Specter/Moon Knight is a seriously disturbed "hero". This comic, more than any other, reminds me of classic Sandman. The writing, the art, the over all feel of this comic is the closest thing to Sandman that I've found, and it works! I can't wait to read the rest of Warren Ellis' run on Moon Knight. Khonshu is pleased.

SledgeReader @TK421 Is this by chance the same Warren Ellis who wrote 6y
TK421 @SledgeReader It sure is. ☺ 6y
SledgeReader @TK421 Love it! I always direct people to Crooked Little Vein when they are reluctant to talk about “those books” during Readers Advisory or if they express doubt about my reading tastes. Then I share 6y

Having a nice evening of making salsa, and choosing my last 4 hoopla selections for the month. I made a mild, medium, and hot. I can't wait for my fresh garden peppers. I need my Carolina Reapers! This volume of Moon Knight looks interesting. I like it when his crazy comes through and you don't know what is real, and what is in his mind. House of M is a classic that is due for a re-read. Damsels looks good, and Guardians is one of my favorites.

Warren Ellis does amazing things with b-listers. Highly recommended anti-hero stories. Just fantastic.
