pickInterested in reading Undset,but reading her Nobel prize winning 3vol. Kristin Lavransdatter seemed a daunting place to start.Her shorter historical novel ,152 pgs.would give me a taste.Set at the beginning of the 11th century,Vigdis (Gunnar‘s Daughter)is raped by a man she could have loved .She tackles adversity head on in this violent & unpredictable time ,a strong female heroine to root for.Published in 1909,often Game of Thrones like.👍❤️
