I started a railway puzzle while I finished the Malazan Book of the Fallen. I didn‘t intend to tackle the whole series this year, but I had to at least try the first one as part of my goal to finish everything on my Kobo, and my library had them all on audio, and here we are. I probably would‘ve loved it when I was 14-15. At 42, it felt less than fresh in some ways, but I enjoyed it more often than not & I‘m glad I finally read it. #audiopuzzling

I figured it was a good time to do my big, complicated Hallowe‘en puzzle, and to finish the Malazan Book of the Fallen. It seems like all of us who‘re listening to the series this year did the penultimate book said, “Yeah, I need a break.” It‘s remained available to borrow for the last month, and no one‘s requested it in the couple days since I got it. Since there‘s no run on the grand finale, I‘ll probably intersperse other books every 25% or so.

TheBookHippie I love a good puzzle! 2mo
xicanti @TheBookHippie this one‘s so much fun I‘ve done it twice. 2mo
TheBookHippie @xicanti I do that too! 2mo

For those that have not read this series all I can say is 😳 why not 📚📚📚📚 it is one that will grab you and twist you into to an amazing path. One in which you think is going to turn one way then it turns a completely different and improved way with hidden depths and meanings. This series goes beyond the normal ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😋 with characters that intrigue and captivate 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Lunch break 😋📖

Jovy Ohhh you made it all the way to the last book! Hats off to you! I made it to book 6 and said I‘d rest for a bit (that was back in 2013?) 😂 7y

Pickpick

I didn't think it was possible to finish the series in only 1200 pages, but I was suprised. It was a great ending and I am already excited about rereading and noticing all the details and forshadowings! One of the best epic fantasy series ever

Ddzmini I‘m just getting all the books to start an can‘t wait to start so excited 😆 can‘t wait 😊 8y
DuckOfDoom @Ddzmini It's a bit much at first, but don't let that dissuade you! It takes some time getting to know all the characters but it is definitely worth it 😊 8y
Ddzmini I jump out of sequence and read Deadhouse Gates first that‘s why I want to read the whole series so I‘m looking forward to really getting into all the characters backgrounds thank you for the advice 😋 8y
