#libraryhaul for today. I'm proud of myself for getting only three books (although it's one more than I planned). Still trying to read my own books, but library books are just so tempting!
Just wanted to say thank you to @runtothelibrary for getting this signed for me! You're my favorite English teacher! ❤❤ TO THE READING CHAIR!!

Free books at my conference! I was nearly crushed to death but all of the authors were super nice 😊
nothing like a lighthearted adventure story to remind you of childhood stories to escape the real world. adulting is hard and children's books remind me of simpler times.
It has often been said that one should never judge a book by its cover. As any serious reader can tell you, this is terrible advice.Serious readers know the singular pleasure of handling a well made book;the heft and texture of the case, the rasp of the spine as you lift the cover, the sweet, dusty aroma of yellowed pages as they pass between your fingers.A book is more than a vessel for ideas:It is a living thing in need of love, warmth, and protection.
"There are moments in life - rare for most people- when you suddenly realize that the tapestry of the world is grander and more intricately woven than you had ever imagined."
I absolutely loved this book! Great characters and some very fun twists and turns. Highly recommend both for middle grade kids & adults. And whilst it's part of a series, it can be read on its own.
This is the first paragraph of the book. A book that talks of love of other books is guarantees I will love it (especially if I already loved another book by this author)!
