I adored this book! It felt historical & modern at the same time - a very rare feat. Do yourself a favour & get the audio book, it‘s pure delight. Definitely going to pick up the next book in the series (& hunt up her other work too)!

I have vivid memories of the bells of St Fin Barre on the river Lee in place of the ones in Shandon (I lived much closer to the former), but this poem is basically all the feels for me. Those bells will always hold a very dear place in my heart

I had never really read anything by Irish poet Thomas Moore, but now I think I‘ll have to find a collection of his. His poems are modern in a way & I love it. Can‘t wait to see what other discoveries are in this volume!

Wonderful script! It's also a stunningly gorgeous book - a brilliant stroke to have MinaLima design the book. & they took the design under the dust jacket too!

I worked the midnight release, so this is the slowest I've ever read a new Harry Potter book. A quarter of the way in at the moment & loving it so far!

I absolutely loved this book! Great characters and some very fun twists and turns. Highly recommend both for middle grade kids & adults. And whilst it's part of a series, it can be read on its own.

This is the first paragraph of the book. A book that talks of love of other books is guarantees I will love it (especially if I already loved another book by this author)!
