pickTHE GREAT SHELBY HOLMES--a Sherlock MG retelling so cute that even Moriarty is pawsitively hounding me for a copy! Seriously, Shelby Holmes and John Watson are so much fun. Little me would have loved this book, and grown me is filled with warm fuzzies!
pickCute rework of Sherlock Holmes. John Watson moves to NYC with his mother and his new neighbor at 221 Baker Street is a bit odd. She can figure out a lot about them after first meeting them, but because John knows no one his own age, he begins to hang with her. I think, like Sherlock Holmes, kids will be intrigued as to how she figures things out. Will get this one for my class. (Middle grade)
