pickFinally finished! What a slog at 650 dense pages! But this book is a must read. Not only does it explain the history of Boston at a turbulent time but it also provides a lot of insight for where we are now. It's a great narrative that explains how we interact with the institutions around us, whether it is our local government, church or the media. It also takes a sympathetic view to all people affected by dramatic policies and politics. 5/5 🌟
