I skipped through a lot of this book. The MC is very whiny and her love interest is a serious ass. I appreciated the further development of the world, but it‘s not a very good book. Marian is a perfectionist “academic” summoned to help unify the academics of Amee and defeat the dark monsters. She must master her new powers, learn about the dark master and save her brother back on earth
