The Amazon's Curse

I need something to keep my textbook open whilst I quote from it. I was imagining a clear book weight/page holder, but the only options I'm seeing on Amazon don't seem great (one is only large enough to work for paperbacks and the other isn't actually transparent). *Links to products I've found in comments.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a product they love?

GlassAsDiamonds IKEA have a reindeer shaped metal book stand that could also suit if you can get to one of them - it‘s large enough for most textbooks and wouldn‘t obscure the text (but not “clear” per se) 4y

HerDarkHuntress1 So the ones you posted are something similar to what your looking for but not quite right? I‘m about to go out of town for a seminar but when I get back I can see if there‘s anything I can make that would follow what your looking for. 4y

HerDarkHuntress1 @monalyisha well i think its going to be fun. I am going to a conference called DEMA. Its for scuba divers. Im going to get my certifications on repairing and inspecting dive equipment. I love to tinker. I dive all the time and my husband is a partner at a dive shop near us and i am going to be taking over the repairs and inspections of equipment while he deployed.

HerDarkHuntress1 @monalyisha My favorite thing in the world is making things for people who have a need. I believe i could make what your looking for out of epoxy and a mold, i would just need to design and build the blank to make a mold. I would just need specs. It would take me a while but if its something you would use often it would totally be worth it! I have an Etsy page if you would like to message me personally? If you want its AUE Customs. monalyisha @HerDarkHuntress1 I only picked it because it matched the theme of my failed Amazon search; I‘ve never read anything by her. But research shows that‘s it‘s number five in a series that starts with the tagged book.
