I loved the book. Story was great. Honestly writing could have been a tad better.
First off I danced ballet so for me this was a great book. But some might be put off by the ballet terminology without explanation. I was able to “see” what the author described for the dancing part of the book. This is a great peek into the life of a dancer. Great read that‘s quick and entertaining.
Bunheads is one of my favourite ballet books, and this quote really stands out to me.
I bought this book as a Christmas present for a friend's 11yo daughter who does ballet. It arrived today and I thought, I'll have a bit of a read to see if it's something she might like. And before I know it I'm about 30 pages in.
Sports aren't my thing in real life, but I have a lot of books that cover all the bases, so to speak. 😉 #bookswithsports #booksacrossoceans
I love this book!! I think that the writing could have been better, but the story was great. It wasn't an original book, but the mix with ballet and love was pretty cool. If you like love stories and dance, you should definitely try this book! I give it 3,8 out of five stars.
#readjanuary My #bestofjanuary was Bunheads by Sophie Flack. It captured everything I love and loathe about the world of ballet (and got me in the mood for the new term teaching my own classes!).
