3.5/5⭐ Judd and Colin are cute together, and Colin's arc to becoming more confident is nice, along with the whole message about not underestimating seemingly weak people. However, I never really connected to Judd as a character or got a feel for who he is as a person. The massive age difference, with Colin being so young and inexperienced, was a bit uncomfortable. It's the side characters who really made it for me. I love the growing pack family.

Colin and Judd at last! And I don‘t know about you, but I have been waiting on this one for YEARS! I did a full series reread with this, and it was an absolute delight! A lot of things hinted at in this were brought to a head and while this did sort of feel like a series ender, there was lots of spin off material in the offing! So much love for this book and this series! If I were a shifter the San Andreas pack would be my dream pack!#RereadWorthy

When Gail Carriger writes as G.L.Carriger there's a lot more sex. If that's not your thing, be warned. Her humor in this one is off the charts. Werewolf country music inspired chapter titles. ? My favorite thing is Found Family and the way that she writes characters w/ ? childhoods who survive & thrive.
