pickI thought I‘d start with one of the books in my library that warrants regular re-reads, because it makes me happy in the best lit-nerdy way. “Letter Perfect” is an entertaining account of the history of the letters of the modern English alphabet -- plus a few more. David Sacks tucks insanely addictive trivia into the story of just about every letter. It‘s an addictive read, and offers insight into the building blocks of the language we love.
