pickI loved the #childrensclassicread2022! The books always lift my spirits! For December, I read two versions of this classic tale of the bravery of a young girl and the power of friendship. My favorite is the one on the right. The illustrations by Bagram J Batoulline are exquisite.
Both of these amazing kids books are from the library. As you would expect, people are waiting on them and I am late getting them back, oops!
This was a delightful way to spend a Sunday afternoon with these books. Both a picks and picks for this Christmas season.

pick#MayMovieMagic Day 29: #IceDance is exquisitely captured in this Ibatoulline adaptation of a classic fairytale. I was glad to note that the story was pretty much close to the original and Ibatoulline has once again awed me with his paintings. While different from Dulac‘s style (lower right) – they have the same lifelike renderings of people and their images, impeccable in its detail. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-8Mf
